A/Superintendent Jody Waldron has dedicated her career to public safety since 1993, beginning as a dispatcher for the Delta Police Department and RCMP 43 Vancouver. In 2002, she advanced her career by joining the Delta Police as a constable, where she has since made significant contributions across various divisions.

Throughout her career, A/Supt. Waldron has served in multiple sections, including Surveillance, the Sexual Offences Section, as a Platoon Commander in Patrol and Recruiting. Her commitment to professional development has led her to her current position as the A/Superintendent in charge of Operations, where she plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of the community.

A life-long resident of South Delta, A/Supt. Waldron has balanced her demanding career with family life. She is a proud mother of two teenage boys and shares her journey with her husband, a retired RCMP member. This balance between motherhood and policing has shaped her approach to leadership and community service.

In addition to her professional responsibilities, A/Supt. Waldron actively gives back to her community by volunteering as a Bocce coach for the BC Special Olympics, fostering inclusion and sportsmanship among young athletes.

Her educational background includes a graduation from the Kwantlen College Public Safety Communications Program. Furthermore, she holds a Certificate in Change Management from the UBC Sauder School of Business and was a member of the 2022 cohort for the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police Global Studies Program.
