Amber has been a proud member of the Vancouver Police Department since 2004. She has worked in operations, Neighbourhood Policing, surveillance, undercover with the BCMUP as well as in the investigation section. Amber is currently assigned as a Sergeant at the Vancouver Jail. Prior to policing, she spent five years as a Reserve Corporal with the Canadian Forces Military Police. Other than her family, Amber’s proudest accomplishment has been as an integral member in the creation of BCWLE. She has served as Vice President and Professional Development Director organizing the speaker series during COVID and two successful in person sold out conferences. Amber is excited about the support that BCWLE has received and is looking forward to more opportunities to build and strengthen women in law enforcement.
