Anita Furlan has been a regular member of the RCMP since 1998. She has held a variety of posts, including being part of the Border Integrity Team, the Integrated Gang Task Force, 6 years with the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU) – Organized Crime section and 4 years with the provincial Major Crime Section.
In 2016, Anita was commissioned to the Inspector rank where she oversaw the Real Time Intelligence Centre-BC, and in 2018 to the rank of Superintendent as the RCMP Division Intelligence Officer. Since October 2020, Anita has been seconded to the Metro Vancouver Transit Police (MVTS) where she is looking forward to enhancing her executive policing skill set.
When not working, Anita loves the outdoors – golfing, hiking, kayaking, and camping, and spending time with her son and daughter.
