Janine started her career in B.C. Corrections and later joined the Vancouver Police Department in 2006 working at the Vancouver Jail. In working with police officers from the department, it was clear a career in law enforcement was what she wanted and she was later hired as a Constable. Janine has worked the majority of her career with VPD in and around the Downtown East Side and has a passion to serve this community. In receiving such strong support from other female police officers, she would like to provide guidance and encouragement to others.
