Natasha serves as a Special Municipal Constable with the Vancouver Police Department. She previously worked with the RCMP in the Victim Services Unit and has held various civilian roles within law enforcement and community-based victim services . She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law Enforcement Studies from the Justice Institute of British Columbia and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Safety at Wilfrid Laurier University. Her graduate work highlights the value of post-secondary education within policing.
As an Iranian-Canadian woman and the first in her family to pursue a career in law enforcement, Natasha is passionate about breaking barriers and challenging the status quo. She is a strong advocate for mentorship and is committed to supporting young women in pursuing education as a pathway into law enforcement. Outside of her professional and academic pursuits, Natasha enjoys hiking and paddle boarding with her rescue dog, Bailey. She is excited about the role BCWLE plays in supporting the academic success of women considering careers in law enforcement.
