Constable Tara Korber has been a member of the Delta Police Department since 2019 and is currently assigned to the Patrol Division. During her time with the DPD, Tara has had experience working in the COVID Operational Support Unit, Drug Investigative Support Team, Major Crimes Unit, Traffic Services, and is a Remotely Piloted Aircraft System Operator. Tara was recently nominated to be a mentor within her organization, to which she enjoys greatly.
Tara’s biggest role model is her aunt, Sheila Rothwell, who became a police officer in the onerous, male dominated, pre- Charter 1970’s era. Constable Tara Korber brings a fresh set of eyes, youth, and excitement to the board, while carrying deep honour and gratitude for the pioneer police women who blazed the path before her.
