Victoria McGroarty proudly serves as a patrol sergeant with the Victoria Police Department, dedicating the past 8 years to serving and protecting the community. Driven by a passion for mentorship and a commitment to gender equality, she is excited to take on the role of BC Women in Law Enforcement Liaison for Vancouver Island. Victoria believes in the power of strong female leadership and is deeply invested in supporting the professional development of female officers. She finds immense satisfaction in guiding and empowering her colleagues, celebrating their achievements, and helping them navigate their careersBeyond her dedication to policing, she is an active member of the Victoria City Police Athletic Association, promoting youth participation in sport. When not on duty, Victoria enjoys challenging herself through weightlifting and connecting with nature through trail running. She looks forward to connecting with and supporting women in policing across Vancouver Island.
